Tuesday, August 16, 2011. I enjoy watching my kids gain independence. I know that this is different from many mothers. I enjoy the joy that school initially brings to kids. I love teaching them how to be big. I let them try cooking and I let them make lunch for them us and I know they are going to make a mess but the clean up is worth it to me. Zoe made lunch today. A waffle sandwich. She learned how to make it on the Internet. She knew it was gonna be so good. She did the whole meal by herself.

A taxi ride, with the lovely Raj79, cost 75 NZD from the airport to the Best Western in the Central business district. Skytower is 61 NZD for a family ticket. After speaking to a few hardcore travellers on Twitter it seemed it was doable with a tablet. Armed with a trusty Nexus 7 and complimented by a Nexus 4 both devices has worked seamlessly on the road.
