In 1965 the Edwin Fox society was formed and the ship was purchased for one shilling, she lay derelict in Shakespeares Bay for 12 years subject to the ravages of the weather. We have had a great year here at The Edwin Fox and the best is still to come….We are celebrating the 160th anniversary of the ships launch and we will be presented with an award from The World Ships Trust for the preservation project later this year.
