Niemeyer Landscaping: Weeds in the Grass
http://www.niemeyerlandscaping.com/2012/06/weeds-in-grass.html
Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Weeds in the Grass. Excessive weeds are a signal that something is wrong with the soil. Grass is a very hostile plant, and, when given the right stuff, will crowd out most, if not all, of the weeds. If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me at NiemeyerLandscaping@Gmail.com. Niemeyer Landscaping: Bug Thermometers
http://www.niemeyerlandscaping.com/2012/08/bug-thermometers.html
Monday, August 3, 2015. His alarm clock slowly opens his eyes, he notices the sun is shining, he thinks to himself, “it’s going to be a pretty day”. But then he hears "them" and changes his mind. He makes his way to the kitchen for some breakfast, and he see something else that seals his suspicions earlier; “it’s going to be a scorcher today”. What did this guy hear and see that gave him such a dismal outlook on the day? If you have any questions feel free to contact me at.

Niemeyer Landscaping: Where'd They Go! I think They're Gone!! Nope:(
http://www.niemeyerlandscaping.com/2012/08/whered-they-go-i-think-theyre-gone-nope.html
Saturday, August 8, 2015. I think They're Gone! With the brief drought we had some people are under the belief that their mole problem has disappeared. Hate to say it but the moles that were tunneling in your yard this spring are still there. Like the Humpbacks who swim thousands of miles for the taste of krill; these dirt swimmers dig down to where the food is. For more Mole info and how to rid your yard of them click on the You Tube Enhanced Garden Articles tab and read the one on Moles.

Niemeyer Landscaping: The "Camels" need watering
http://www.niemeyerlandscaping.com/2012/07/camels-need-watering.html
Saturday, August 1, 2015. The "Camels" need watering. We've had a dry spell! I’ve been doing some transplanting of shade-loving grounds covers like Pachysandra and Hosta; two that have rather bulbous root systems. They adapt very well to shady areas; and because of the shady tops they are under their roots are in mortal combat with the roots that are supporting these big leafy canopies. If you have any Arbs. Now, if you see me telling you to get a hose under your Yucca plant, then we are in big trouble.

Niemeyer Landscaping: What's the temperature Mr.C
http://www.niemeyerlandscaping.com/2012/08/whats-temperature-mrc.html
Friday, August 7, 2015. What's the temperature Mr.C. How did he know the evening’s temperature? And why is she sitting in the car? He knew that if you counted the chirps of a common field cricket within a fourteen second period of time and added 40, you would then know the temperature in Fahrenheit. But he, being the thorough studious type, knew if you counted the chirps in twenty-five seconds, divide by 3 and added four, you would have the temperature in Celsius. Niemeyer Landscaping: Picking Beans:
http://www.niemeyerlandscaping.com/2013/08/picking-beans.html
Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Be sure to pick beans before they get too mature. Mature beans (old and tough,) not picked, will cause the plant to slip into a “mission accomplished mode” as pertaining to reproduction for the next year, and cease just about all further bean production. Bushes kept picked clean will keep producing. Tip for next year: When planting seeds don't plant them all at once but make 2 to 3 planting 2 weeks apart. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
