Annelise is a 1950’s Sparkman and Stephens designed, 36-ft. sloop. Sparkman and Stephens are a yacht design firm founded in 1929 whose designs have won many international races. Annelise traveled to Hessel for the summer of 2010 and was sold to her current owner that fall. The Stork launch is a 1908 Brooks launch completely rebuilt and repowered with a Stork motor. The Stork’s owner is the grandson of the founder of the Stork Motor Company of Saginaw, MI.

But. a couple of things. 1 I needed a rug that my office stair can easily roll over. 2 I really wanted to bring a natural material into the space, especially since I went with a painted desk. 3 I love the natual color, and the stripes give it that something special, without being the focal point of the room. 4 This one was $50!
