On the 24th, we celebrate the arrival of the Mormon Pioneers into the Salt Lake Valley. We stayed true to our style and celebrated the whole week. Saturday, February 28, 2015. Elise had her 100th day celebration on Feb 2. They were supposed to dress up like old people. We borrowed some stuff from grandma Cindy and she looked great. I told her to make a face like a 100 year old lady and his is what she gave me! I had a hard time holding the camera still I was laughing so hard. We made him some Valentines. Fun hair-do for Lu that looked cuter in real life. Dancing to the music credits. They especially like to do this when they watch the Barbie movies.

Off to Grantsville for all the fun festivities. Fun hair do for Lucy. easy AND cute = winner for both of us. Elise ripped her bows out immediately, but her's was still cute too. Wednesday, July 8, 2015. Days at the Ballpark. By the end of the season, she wasn't scared of the ball, hit almost every time she was up, and played 1st and 3rd base consistently (but needs some work there). She wasn't the best on the team, but on the upper end. There was one game where she had the best hit of the game. Big thanks to the patience of Coach Trussell. Way to stick it out, Lu! She said she wants to pitch next year, so we'll see what happens. Austin and Elise improved a lot this year too!

Sunday, July 12, 2015. We always look forward to our long weekend at the Covey Cabin. This year it was held July 9-11. Traditionally, we eat a ton and play lots of games and talk a lot. It's great and so relaxing. This year Elise decided she wanted to set up Diamond Crystal's nail salon to earn some money. I talked her down to charging 25cents per service. She recruited Halle and they had quite a business! She brought a suitcase with the entire supply of nail polish we own. Me, Lacey, Dad. Are on the spot.

Saturday, May 31, 2014. George and I were exhausted and laying on the couches as the kids scooped themselves ice cream. Austin: "Ummmm. we could really use a PARENT over here! We were sitting around the table about ready to eat dinner when April called to wish Elise a "Happy Birthday". George talked to her for a minute, then said, "Elise, it's April on the phone." The kids erupted in cheers "Yay! And then over it all we heard Austin yell, "Yay! These are NOT Sunday songs! With a little fist pump, I think).
