Friday, May 26, 2006. How To Disappoint A Man. It was a wet, rainy Wednesday evening in Suburbia. Man is enjoying a couple of beers that he bought from the off-licence on his way home from work. Man: These beers are going down really well. I’m on my last one. The trouble with these Beck’s is that they’re smaller and don’t last very long. Woman: Why are they smaller? Are they World Cup specials or something? Man: (Groans inwardly): No, this is nothing to do with the World. Posted by SuperJane @ 11:09 pm.

Saturday, July 22, 2006. I have taken up knitting again after a break of 30 years. I had forgotten how therapeutic knitting is and what a good knitter I am. Lots of unsuspecting family and friends are going to get something knitted for Christmas this year. This is the i-Pod Sock, which I knitted on Thursday. Here it is being modelled by my U2 Special Edition pod. With many thanks to Suw Charman’s mum. Who published her i-Pod Sock pattern on the Blog which was the inspiration for my design. Tuesday, June 21, 2005. This one gets rated at least interesting. Got a nice write up in the Guardian today, and I'm looking forward to reading it. The general idea of a book about the economics of the everyday is a pretty good one.
