Tuesday, September 26, 2006. We've got almost 20 sheets of drywall adorning the ceiling and some walls upstairs. despite the blood, sweat and tears it's still dry too! Wednesday, May 31, 2006. Furnace on the way. After much debate and a few painful estimates we have decided to have Elkhorn HVAC. Replace our cracked and crappy furnace. The decision was a tough one. Sears. Had a good offer and what looks like a pretty good product for $1000 less. Ultimately we chose Elkhorn by some of the same criteria that Consumer Reports. Pro's and cons of each installer:. Sunday, April 30, 2006. The first big project. The first big project we decided to tackle was to take out the wall in the living room that divided the living room and a bedroom. A large, open living area was much more desirable to us than an extra small bedroom. What a piece of construction mastery! Just a few of the many surprises that lay ahead. The National Library of France (BnF) has an amazing collection of prints from 1910. Which depict life in the year 2000. They are credited to Villemard. There's speculation that they were included with "foodstuffs" of the era, much like the German postcards. We looked at back in April. The Avenue of the Opera.
