Trees in the wood. I am a painter living and working in West Dorset. I make paintings in response to walking through my world - light and air, rain and wind, the time of the day and the turn of the tide. During a visit to Australia I was moved and inspired by the Indigenous Australian painters who "walk into" their ancient landscapes in paint. I am trying to find my own way of depicting man's hand on the West Dorset landscape through time. My studio is open by appointment.
