Elizabeth Anne Herro Dowdy. Mother’s Day 2015. Random Acts of Kindness…… →. The 2015 Fischer, Benjamin and Hayes Dowdy Memorial Scholarship. June 1, 2015. I always enjoy this time of year. It’s when our grandson’s scholarship is awarded to a Salado HS Senior. This year was of God’s making because this year, the student and the family knew Fischer, Ben and Elizabeth. And so tonight was another example of how God blesses and fulfills his promises. As it says in Isaiah 61:3:. Go take on the world Shelby!

They were sisters, playmates and friends. I think if you were to ask them, they would tell you they were friends. So, when July 30th happens in a family, it leaves a big hole. We have one son, named Cohen, who was born on May 20, 2011. He lives in Heaven. We are pregnant with Cohen's little brother Nathan, and are fervently praying for God's favor to allow us to raise him here! This blog started as a way to keep family and friends updated on our pregnancy with Cohen, but has now become our family history- a way to document the blessings in our lives. Stick around. Monday, February 23, 2015. Drew: 2 months old. Drew-boy, you are two months old! Weight: 10 lbs 14 oz. Length: 22.5 inches. Eating: 7 times a day (1 nighttime feeding and every 3 hours during the day). Sleeping: 1 6 hour stretch at night (9-3ish, give or take 30 minutes), one morning nap from 9-11, one afternoon nap from 1-3:30, and 2 evening catnaps, usually around 6 and 8. We found out in August of 2012 that we were expecting our second blessing and Cohen's little brother, Nathan. We feel so grateful that the Lord has seen fit to allow us to become parents for a second time. We have been enjoying both the excitement and the emotion of a 2nd pregnancy and feel grateful to have incredible doctors who are working with us and for us. Nathan arrived March 20th and we are in love! He is a precious blessing in our lives and we can't wait to watch him grow. Day in the Life.

Our baby boy, Cohen, was born on May 20th, 2011. He was beautiful, and was already showing some red hair, like his momma. He was born at 24 weeks gestation, giving him around a 30% chance of survival from my emergency c-section. I went into spontaneous pre-term labor after a completely problem-free, symptom-free pregnancy. Below are all our of posts during Cohen's life! How we found out we were pregnant. Thursday, April 23, 2015. Drew: 4 months old! Drew boy, you are no longer my little newborn munchkin. You are long and getting chunky and looking like a regular old baby! Your smiles make my heart melt into a puddle and your hair grows in a natural Mohawk which is the cutest thing ever. To say we can't get enough of you is an understatement.
