Avoiding Life’s Complications – Elizabeth Hetling
https://elizabethhetling.wordpress.com/2013/05/13/avoiding-lifes-complications
Just a girl trying to survive in OKC. Avoiding Life’s Complications. Woah, it’s been awhile since I last posted! Things have been a bit all over the place lately. I moved into my new apartment with my new roommate. (whoo) My new place is pretty awesome if I do say so myself. 1 Get more sleep. – There’s tons of research that says you need 8 hours of sleep. I know this, you know this. But I hardly ever get that much sleep. It’s more like 6 or 7 hours. 2 Stop hitting the snooze button and wake up on time!
Summer Bucket List – Elizabeth Hetling
https://elizabethhetling.wordpress.com/2013/06/08/summer-bucket-list
Just a girl trying to survive in OKC. Have these past like 3 weeks been crazy or what? It felt like Oklahoma had more severe weather days than not. And two EF-5 tornados in a matter of two weeks? Geesh Praise the Lord I and all my friends are okay! It’s a huge understatement to say the last few weeks have been stressful. And it’s easy in times like this to see all the bad and focus on that. But there have been a lot of good people stepping up and helping Oklahoma to rebuild. Find Bobo and Eat His Chicken.

Just a girl trying to survive in OKC. Wow Like seriously guys wow. I am the worst blogger in the history of blogging. Like fall off the face of the earth blogger. Whoops…. I think the last post I wrote was 2 years ago? I AM RUNNING A HALF MARATHON IN 3 MONTHS! OKC Memorial Marathon – April 26th). Running, but on occasion I would go for a quick run to relieve some stress, or just to get outside. And when I say quick run, I mean 1 mile… 2 if I was feeling really adventurous. Yep, 5K winners right there.

Feeling at Home – Elizabeth Hetling
https://elizabethhetling.wordpress.com/2013/06/24/feeling-at-home
Just a girl trying to survive in OKC. Then when the weekend was over and I came back to my apartment in OKC I had this overwhelming feeling of being home. When did that happen? At what point in my time here did Oklahoma City become home? And now when I think of moving and having new adventures in other states, I get this sad nagging feeling. Again,. When did that happen? When did I come to love Oklahoma City so much? At one point I hated the fact that I was still living here after graduation. I did.

Parking on campus can sometimes be a bother. There’s this sort of knowing. But I’ve found that even though I could still easily park in the lot next to my building, I don’t. I don’t park in the 8-minute walk away lot either. Why? Because I enjoy the walk. Maybe some people would find it strange that I choose th...

Living in the Moment
Living in the Moment. What the future holds depends on what we do with the present moment. Great things arise out of small things that are honored and cared for.
