All about our daughter! Thursday, December 20, 2012. After spending several hours in the hospital last night, we had to return around one in the morning. We got about three hours of sleep. Elyza's breathing started going down hill, so we took her back in. they gave her some medication to stabilize her breathing, and then they decided to keep her under observation for eight hours. Monday, June 28, 2010. So I had an inkling that I was before we went to California, but I took a test and it was negative. It was too soon before my missed period for the test to really take effect. Saturday, October 31, 2009. I've joined the club. So yesterday I got into a car accident. I've now officially joined the club of non-perfect driving records. I've still never gotten a speeding ticket, so knock on wood I guess. This is the story:. For some reason I didn't slow down and I slammed into her bumper. After telling Mark's cousin about it, I realized that my breaks locked and that's why I didn't slow down after hitting my breaks. I didn't even know that could happen. Here are pictures of our car.

Sunday, January 17, 2010. Driver, take me to Matsumotos! When we got back to Oahu we knew that we needed to spend time with Erin and her roomies. Not having a car, Hawaii seems pretty lame to them, so we decided to take them around and experience the island. Yes, a skateboard rack. You saw it first here folks. I have been consumed and overwhelmed emotionally over the past 4 weeks. Unbeknownst to mother nature and her plan I had booked my ticket a month before for my visit. I was to fly out to Kansas City the Wednesday after the storm. Perfect timing right? The hospital was badly damaged, my mom's car was a loss, and her home was not safe to live in-but she is ok :).

We just got done with her doctors appointment, and she tested positive. Her kidneys are putting out protein. But, we have not given up on her feeding therapy.
