Sunday, July 20, 2014. With things that go bump in the night. I spent a lot of my childhood on my grandparent's farm in East Hartland, Connecticut. My grandparents, Henry and Libby purchased this ramshackled farm and 167 acres of land in 1941 for $5000. In 1948 they bought an additional 50 acres for $2500.
