Monday, November 28, 2011. We had a great Thanksgiving break. We stayed in town, played with friends and just spent a lot of time together as a family. It couldn't have been better. Sometimes there is nothing better than just having no plans and hanging out together. One day this week, the kids made a thankful tree. Thursday, October 25, 2012. The countdown has begun. After over a year of paper-chasing, fingerprinting, waiting and more waiting.we are finally getting ready to travel to China. We received our TA (travel approval) last week! And the plane tickets have been booked. We leave in 2 weeks, and it can't get here fast enough. I think this may be the longest 2 weeks of the last year. And our lives will look very different. Gotta go check some more things off my "to do before China" list. :). Other blogs I love.

We sent our dossier to China in late February, and then we just waited to get a referral for a child.
