Lieve first came out to South-Africa in 1999 with a voluntary project and worked as an occupational therapist in the different townships around Plettenberg Bay. Take the road to Grahamstown, travel straight to Fort Beaufort, then through Alice on the way to King Williams Town, but take the turn-off to the LEFT about 4 km outside Alice to Hogsback. We zijn de gravel road die we gevolgd hebben naar de camping verder afgereden totdat we 25 kilometer verder uitkwamen in Clan William. Dat was de laatste gravel road volgens Lieve die we gingen doen! Clan William is een klein stadje aan een groot stuwmeer. Eens we Citrusdal uit waren, kwamen we weer terecht op een gravel road!
