Thursday, 30 July 2015. The boy wanted an outdoor cinema night for his birthday. So we set about rigging up a projector and white sheet screen to watch a film without even thinking about what time it goes dark in the summer! Saturday, 31 January 2015. A SPLASH OF COLOUR ON A WINTERS DAY. Stanley and I met up with our lovely friend Anna this week and her family, who provided a much needed splash of colour on a wet and cold winter day. I love Anna's coordinated bobble and gorgeous Ally Capellino backpack. It was lovely for Stanley to have children of his own age to play with, poor thing usually has to tag along behind the big boys! Friday, September 21, 2012. A few weeks ago, I was asked to come up with a workshop at Nymans. Ideal for children and their parents to just drop in and make something they could take away. So the Suffolk Puff (or YoYo) was perfect for a simple, quick and very easy sewing project. Labourers were not keen to waste materials and would sew the. Together to form quilts, hence the name 'Suffolk Puff' is used for this type of patchwork. I created a gorgeous necklace by making lots of puffs in different sizes.

Friday, August 14, 2009. A Midsummer Summary, Part 2 (July). July was mostly spent back east, travelling around Quebec and Ontario, visiting favourite places and catching up with loved ones:. So sweet to see their eyes popping with joy when given the chance to reconnect with far away family and friends.
