The Purls of Life. Friday, September 30, 2016. See You on the Court. Sadie is about to finish up her 8th grade volleyball season. We were so proud of her during this game because she got out there and gave her overhand serve a try. She has been doing extra practice to prepare. She was disappointed that her serve during the game didn't go over. We were thrilled that she tried. She had several go over during practice and I cheered for her! Links to this post. http://thepurlsoflife.blogspot.com/2016_07_01_archive.html
The Purls of Life. Sunday, July 31, 2016. A Unique Roadside Attraction. Last year on the way back from camp we stopped at the geographical center of North America. This year the kids spotted the W'eel Turtle in Dunseith, North Dakota. So, we made a quick stop to see what it was all about. Turns out that the "worlds largest man-made" turtle is made from 2,000 tire rims. It is 18 feet high and 40 feet long and weighs over a ton. Not sure what kind of unusual stop we can make next year. The Purls of Life: August 2016
http://thepurlsoflife.blogspot.com/2016_08_01_archive.html
The Purls of Life. Sunday, August 28, 2016. And, So It Begins. Isaac was a sweaty boy when I picked him up from his first tackle football practice. He worked hard and excitedly said it was "great"!
