The weatherforecast was not optimistic but Saturday appeared to be just fine! We went the three of us: My wife Michele, Frederique, our eldest daughter and myself. Lots of visitors enjoyed the fine weather and the 180 strongly selected exhibitors offered their specialized services and garden products. What did I buy? Next week: Les Jardins d'Aywiers.

The Bruegel family (father Pieter, sons and grand sons) were all painters. They were productively painting from the mid-sixteenth century through the seventeenth century, primarily in Antwerp. Subjects painted were still lifes, sceneries, biblical history scenes and farmer life activities. Move away from this site and read more about the Bruegel family.
