Our family journal as we adopt our second little dumpling. Saturday, December 1, 2007. Terra Cotta Warriors, Orphanage, and Starfish. It is Friday afternoon here. We are in the hotel waiting for the children's passports to be finished. If all goes as planned, we will be flying out to Guangzhou this evening- -our final stop before heading home. I haven't posted in a couple of days because we have been really busy and I have horrible sinus infection. The warriors are life-sized and each one is different.

Two Little Dumplings: We are Home

Our family journal as we adopt our second little dumpling. Saturday, December 8, 2007. We have been home for three days now and it feels so good to relax a little. Our travels home went well, but very long. Ana did better than we expected on the flights and slept a little. Some of our playgroup moms have been bringing over hot dinners at night for us- -this is awesome not to have to worry about shopping and preparing dinner when we are still so tired. Our family journal as we adopt our second little dumpling. Wednesday, January 23, 2008. Home for Seven Weeks. We have been home for seven weeks now with Ana. She is such a funny, sweet natured little girl and she is doing very well. Ana’s sleeping is also improving. Two nights this week she slept ALL night from 7:30 PM to 7 AM. Learning to color and we picked up some little toys that she is playing with. She is built just like our niece, Delaney- -big belly and short legs. Looks like she wears a 2T and size 6 shoes. Our family journal as we adopt our second little dumpling. Monday, December 3, 2007. Ready to come home. It feels like we have been gone forever and we are officially ready to come home. Our adoption ceremony is tomorrow at the US Consulate- -then we get the kids' travel Visas and we fly out Wed. morning at 8 AM. Can't wait to get home and see Sophie and our friends and family. We are going to an electronics market tomorrow and I think we are buying an MP4 player. CRAZY cheap stuff here. Have a great day!
