The establishment of a Metro Station at East Boldon has resulted in severe street congestion due an over spill of commuter cars. Residents can no longer park outside of their own homes, cross roads safely or access their local shops. Commerce has also suffered with patrons spending their money elsewhere due to the lack of parking spaces outside of local amenities.
