Acceptance With Joy: Preparing to Leave
http://awjles.blogspot.com/2011/02/preparing-to-leave.html
Thursday, February 10, 2011. Well it's finally time! Come Saturday morning, I will be on a plane headed for Ellerslie Leadership Training in Colorado! I can hardly wait! The down side is that I've been sick since Monday and am only just beginning to recover. And I still have all my packing to do and a wedding to go to tomorrow night. Then our plane leaves the next morning! Needless to say, I'm feeling a bit stressed :P I mean, trying to pack for two months in less than a day! Talk about crunch time!

Monday, July 12, 2010. Let No One Despise Your Youth. Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Here Paul is speaking specifically to the youth. Iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. We are to be an example to our fellow believers. We are to sharpen their countenance, sharpen the example they set. Just as they are to help sharpen our countenance and our example. What am I saying? Am I allo...

Monday, October 11, 2010. Recently I went to a conference called Set Apart Girl by Erick and Leslie Ludy. I was so blessed by the message and I learned a lot about being a girl set apart for the Lord! I would appreciate your prayers as I prepare for this adventure in the Kingdom! Instead of trying to explain what it is or tell you about it, here is a link to the video. They have on their website. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Wednesday, June 2, 2010. Is Worry a Symptom of Pride? In all my worrying I've had to ask myself this question, is worry a sin? Well lets turn to the scriptures and see what the Lord has to say about it;. 8220;Therefore do not worry. Saying, ‘What shall we eat? 8217; or ‘What shall we drink? 8217; or ‘What shall we wear? 8217; Matthew 6:31. Therefore do not worry. About tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry. About its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:34. View my complete profile.

http://awjles.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 29, 2010. I have been so blessed over the past month! I have so much exciting news and updates to share! First of all I had an opportunity to go up to northern California at the beginning of December for a week and a half. I went to visit my Uncle and his new wife and help them move. Their new house was very nice and I really enjoyed visiting with them! However Northern Cali is very cold compared to Central Cali! I think being away helped me to appreciate them a bit more. We had a won...
