ENG 190

Wednesday, December 14, 2005. I mentioned in the previous post that this activity has been an experiment and that while some aspects of this assignment lived up to my expectations, others did not. I thought, as my own final entry for the semester, that I'd offer my own self-evaluation. One thing that disappointed me about this blogging activity was that there really wasn't a lot of writing activity between. Thanks to everyone who posted their blogging evaluations, and thanks for giving this activity a try.

ENG 190: October 2005

http://eng190.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html

Monday, October 31, 2005. Ruminations on paper topics. Or "I don't know what I'm interested in! Statements which perhaps reveal another interesting phenomenon about your generation. The point is: it is much better for you to choose a topic because you are really interested in it than for you to choose a topic simply because you think it will be easier to find sources for your paper. The first approach will almost always lead to an "A" paper. The second approach may not. Posted by Dr. Reep at 7:56 AM.

Why is there such emphasis on intelligent design in biology, and not in physics, astronomy, or geology? Posted by Dr. Reep at 9:29 AM. This is a great blog you have here. what a great place to share information. Hope you don't mind I paid you a visit. I also have a site about rashguards. Because I like to surf.

Monday, December 05, 2005. Debate Response DUE: 12/7. Today we saw a slightly unusual debate in which Amanda and Staci went one-on-one regarding the always fascinating topic of file sharing. Amanda supported the recent Supreme Court decision that held Grokster liable for damages while Staci argued against the Supreme Court decision. Let's hear what those of you in the audience thought about who won and whether Amanda and Staci's decisions to not use partners for their debate was the best way to go.
