We had fun giving each other special things this year, and we all enjoyed watching everyone open special surprises. We even did stockings all over again! Welcom...

Finally, I am posting the rest of our California trip photos. It's taken me forever because we have had lots of computer "issues" (just ask Brian)! We loved the local beach about 5 minutes from our house - really wide and great soft sand, and we pretty much had it to ourselves! Holton always loves the breeze! We had fun drawing letters in the sand. These ...

Being read into poetry and prose. By His wounds I am healed. Friday, January 11, 2008. My three weeks in Texas were amazing. Chaotic, but fun and chock-full of family and dear friends. Scrabble with Jon by the fire; chatting to Adam about his new life in Seattle; coffee with Walker; lunch at the Hickory Street cafe with Julie S. But I am back in my own cosy room, no longer living out of a suitcase, and ready for a new semester full of plans and dreams. New ACU group arriving with Cole. On Thursday; Jacque.

http://tyrannysucks.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
Well maybe I don't care what you think either. Wednesday, July 27, 2005. I'm currently revisiting an absolutely fantastic book -. Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies. By Jared Diamond. It won a Pulitzer Prize back in 1998. Three years ago, when I was first reading this book, I had an epiphany. If the knowledge we have gained from archaeological and genetic records is accurate, the Garden of Eden as described in the book of Genesis never existed. ADDITIONAL MATERIAL, ADDED 7/30/2005].
