Impressive castle. Nice day. No drawbridge. The castle consists of an inner compound with keep surrounded by a deep moat. Very dramatic from any perspective. It was fun to wander around and picture what the castle would have looked like so many years ago. Above is the Great Hall where all of the castle residents would have been fed and entertained. Of course, we’re looking at both the first and second floors of the Great Hall. Or a staircase to the top of the wall?
