I am excited to announce that one of my images from Russia (a dancing babushka image) is published in the June edition of National Geographic Magazine (pg. 18) and I was invited for guaranteed entrance to another digital exhibition in NYC via see.me. Here is how everything took place…. My husband found a few homes on this website. She provided us with bus schedule links, accommodation recommendations and picked us up at the bus stop in Aseri so she could drive us to the homes. We ended up taking the bus from Saint Petersburg to Jõhvi. The welcome sign for Aseri.

On that note, I’m happy to announce that my husband and I have rescheduled our trip to Russia and the Ukraine and if all goes according to plan (and I do not need another surgery! I will be flying to Saint Petersburg at the end of May (just in time for White Nights! And when my husband comes over, we will be visiting Chernobyl in June!
