I have no idea whether selfies are supposed to be allowed in the 100 happy days thing. Also, I virtually never wear make-up anyway. To the extent that I’m actually struggling to remember when I last did! Definitely at my sister’s wedding 18 months ago, and I think I’ve worn it since but can’t think what for. You heard it from a kids’ perspective. And it’s true Queensland. Is really pretty incredible. One of a kind, really, seeing as it’s the only place in the world with two World Heritage Sites side-by-side: the Great Barrier Reef. And the Daintree Rainforest. The oldest rainforest in the world). The two little words. During our week in Q...

As it’s Easter Sunday I’m taking a break from photos and posting something I wrote about my Christian faith instead. This comes out of a discussion I was having with some friends about what sin is and why Christ “had” to die because of it. Our own hypocrisy and evil towards others. 8211; the hostage taker being not God but Satan (which means “the Accuser” so yo...Then a th...

I’ve said it many times before, but I love how the Swiss allow flowers to grow in their lawns and don’t try to kill everything that isn’t grass. Speedwell, buttercups, dandelions and daisies are all standard in lawns here, as are primroses. Switzerland in spring is absolutely beautiful. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. He had to go to school in snowboots and come shopping with me in the afternoon for new trainers. In the evening he and Nutmeg played on this African thumb piano (a gift from my sister and brother-in-law last year, from the British Museum). Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.
