http://enviroschools.org.nz/about-enviroschools

I Tōu Ake Rohe. Te Reo o Karere. Foster a generation of people who instinctively think and act sustainably. Sustainability has many different interpretations. To us it means living in a country where people work with positive energy to connect with each other, their cultural identity and their land, to create a healthier, peaceful, more equitable society. It means the regeneration of resilient, connected communities in which people care for each other and the environment. Enviroschools is a kaupapa.

Enviroschools : How it works

http://enviroschools.org.nz/how-enviroschools-works

I Tōu Ake Rohe. Te Reo o Karere. For children and young people Enviroschools can be a lifelong journey from early childhood, to primary, intermediate, secondary and beyond. For schools and centres we support long-term participation; lasting changes can take many years to become embedded but every step is a change in itself. Every Enviroschool follows a unique journey that:. Develops from small beginnings and gathers strength and breadth along the way. Empowers tamariki and students.

Thorndon Envirogroup: World Environment Day – Thursday 5 June

http://thorndonenvirogroup08.blogspot.com/2008/06/world-environment-day-thursday-5-june.html

Wednesday, June 11, 2008. World Environment Day – Thursday 5 June. Last Thursday the Envirogroup went to Macalister Park to help plant five thousand New Zealand native plants. We went on the bus at 11:15 to the park and listened to a speech. There were a lot of people there including TV3 News. Once the speech was over we had lunch. They had prepared things like sandwiches, fruit, brownies and drinks. It was really tasty. By Noah and Datu. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
