We're all a little Nutty: October 2014
http://wereallalittlenutty.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
We're all a little Nutty. But laughter keeps us sane! Friday, October 31, 2014. I have put off posting anything all week because I didn't feel like I had anything blog worthy (says the woman who posted a picture of a kidney bean last time). So, I decided I'd just write about all the reasons I've had to smile this week. It is good to remember that there were happy times when we feel overwhelmed with life! Aunt Lisa, I'm eating my cream! 4 Opportunities to celebrate life and friendship. 6 Loving, happy kid...

We're all a little Nutty: December 2014
http://wereallalittlenutty.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
We're all a little Nutty. But laughter keeps us sane! Wednesday, December 17, 2014. I've been trying really hard to focus on the true meaning of the Christmas season this year. Two songs touched my heart on Sunday:. First, was during the Sacrament hymn. Several phrases reminded me of what a gift the Savior has given each of us. The last two verses, in particular, were great reminders that He is just waiting for us to accept His gift. Bid thine heart all strife to cease;. With thy brethren be at peace.

We're all a little Nutty: August 2014
http://wereallalittlenutty.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
We're all a little Nutty. But laughter keeps us sane! Tuesday, August 26, 2014. It’s interesting how much in shock we are dealing with this imminent death. We have been “prepared” for this for a few years, but it still feels like it came on suddenly. We were eating sno cones together on Friday afternoon, laughing about Ian’s experiences at his first week of school, and now we are saying our final goodbyes. Eleanor Jensen, July 2014. Sunday, August 17, 2014. Another grand adventure to end our summer.

We're all a little Nutty: Getting in the Summer Groove
http://wereallalittlenutty.blogspot.com/2015/06/getting-in-summer-groove.html
We're all a little Nutty. But laughter keeps us sane! Friday, June 19, 2015. Getting in the Summer Groove. Machine pitch baseball has been a disappointment because of so many schedule conflicts that mean we will miss 4 out of 8 games. But, he has enjoyed himself anyway. We found out that we can go sailing for $10/person so Lee is pretty excited about that. Teenagers headed off to Moab for a few days of scout adventure. While 5th grade camp took away one of the energy forces in our home, we focused our re...

We're all a little Nutty: March 2015
http://wereallalittlenutty.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
We're all a little Nutty. But laughter keeps us sane! Thursday, March 26, 2015. I visited with a good friend today about how our lives have unfolded and why we made the choices that we did. She articulated it very well and I loved it so I wanted to capture it in words before I forgot. I thought it would be fitting to insert a "classroom" like photo here- this is us at Yale. No matter what “classroom” we are given, we will still have hard things we must overcome (or simply endure! Sunset in the Adirondacks.

We're all a little Nutty: Family Bonding
http://wereallalittlenutty.blogspot.com/2015/06/family-bonding.html
We're all a little Nutty. But laughter keeps us sane! Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Instead of camping, this year's family reunion was a "staycation." We swam and tested our limits with motion sickness and started our own "weight loss by sweating" program. It was fun to see cousins together, because even those that live close by don't get to see each other enough. Cautious, perhaps, but finally brave enough to jump off the diving board. Grace, on the front row of my favorite roller coaster! Just Before I Vote.

We're all a little Nutty: September 2014

We're all a little Nutty. But laughter keeps us sane! Tuesday, September 9, 2014. A Week of Goodbyes. I have been sitting on this post for a week now.not really knowing how to say what was in my heart. Or maybe I am too tired to find the right words. I keep thinking I can't go to bed each night because I haven't heard Sam come home yet, and then I remember that she doesn't live here anymore! All the important things.fit snugly in the back of the car. Even though she sometimes got his name wrong the last ...

We're all a little Nutty: January 2015
http://wereallalittlenutty.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
We're all a little Nutty. But laughter keeps us sane! Monday, January 26, 2015. I firmly believe that kids can learn more about spiritual things than we think they can, so I'm going to have to have faith that the right messages will sink in. However, I can't help but wonder if any of them recounted a slightly skewed version of this story to their family after church, or perhaps went to bed last night fearful that if they didn't say their prayers they'd get eaten by lions. Monday, January 19, 2015. Someti...

We're all a little Nutty. But laughter keeps us sane! Thursday, May 21, 2015. Graduation, Part 2 OR Oh My Ganoche! There are so many things to be excited about around here! Lee and I took our bikes and the train to the Thanksgiving Point Gardens to celebrate his birthday. He was jumping for joy at the opportunity to be with me probably. I was mostly glad that the owl (that got startled and flew out of a tree and then directly over my open mouth) missed. Second was this divine "Chocolate Ganache Cheesecak...
