Love Food. Love Life. Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Is it gross that I'm FINALLY eating the last of my very non-traditional Thanksgiving leftovers? Am I the only one? Don't worry, all of the desserts were gone the following morning. Neufchatel with Fischer &. Wieser Raspberry Chipotle sauce. Neufchatel and smoked oysters ball covered in almonds, and an assortment of olives. Pork tenderloin with port and fig reduction. Penne and brie with panko. Baked mashed potatoes with pancetta, mozzarella and parsley.

Love Food. Love Life. Monday, February 13, 2012. Elizabeth St. Cafe. I love sandwiches and, as most of you know, my favorite sandwich in the world is Banh Mi so I had to try it at Elizabeth St. Cafe. I'm used to having a simple grilled/bbq pork banh mi that's been in brine overnight with the slightly pickled daikon radish, carrots, and cucumbers. Deeeelish! The decor in this place is darling and cozy. Loved that. NOT. I'd recommend waiting til the hype dies down a little.the wait is entirely too long.

James Holmes (Olivia) has opened Lucy's Fried Chicken on the super south part of South Congress and it is finger-lickin' good. Also, it's super chill, but beautiful. We started with these gorg grilled oysters called "Lucha". Monday, October 11, 2010. After dinner, Joe put on some of our favorite songs and we slow danced in his livingroom for a long time. It was so wonderful to just spend a romantic evening with the man I love. And how incredible that he planned the entire evening for our three month anniversary. It was absolutely the most romantic thing ever done for me. Friday is a day that I will not soon forget. I feel like the luckiest woman in the world to have a man that can show how he cares in such a perfect way!

Friday, September 24, 2010. Life is pretty amazing these days! I am dating the most amazing man and never thought I would be so happy living back in Nebraska. Who would have thought, right? Joe and I met at a mutual friends wedding and just simply totally hit it off. He is a banker which is fun because now I feel like being financially responsible is almost a must!
