Echo Interview - dunno how many of you noticed but on Saturday 11th April the 3 of us were in the Daily Echo in recognition of our efforts. Thursday, 13 May 2010. Story of Ken Whorley. Ken Whorley was diagnosed with MDS in September 2007. Now over 2 and a half years later, it’s seeming to take its toll. Last Thursday he was admitted to hospital after his son found him and was quickly moved to an ICU. (Intensive Care Unit.). These include a gallbladder infection, extreme stomach swelling and cellulitis. For the first few days he was relying heavily upon antibiotics, but thankfully was moved to a haematology ward on Thursday. We like to walk.

Monday, 14 December 2009. Hmmmm Mixed day it seems! Everything was going well until it got to ten to two, just 10 minutes before the show began. There was problems transmitting a signal, and so the show didn't start until 25 minutes past! Eventually we got to the interview, which went well I guess, before the transmissions failed again! I am going to start work on editing the audio, so that we can get the interview on our website, no promises though! But for now, that's everything. We like to walk.
