Epilepsy is a medical condition that produces seizures, affecting a variety of mental and physical functions, also referred to as a generalized seizure disorder. When a person experiences two or more unprovoked seizures separated by at least 24 hours, they qualify as having epilepsy. The Epilepsy Foundation leads the fight to stop seizures, find a cure, and overcome the challenges created by epilepsy.
