2006 Eponymous MacAllister Red Wine 90 Pts. This is a big, red-fruited cabernet blend with a lot of dimension to its flavors. The tannins are relatively soft, appealing in their chocolatey richness and suited to current drinking with prime ribs. 2005 Eponymous MacAllister Red Wine 91 Pts. Dense garnet hue. Inviting scents of blackberry, black cherry and mocha. Creamy flavors of cherry, vanilla and cola. Velvety tannins with layers of raspberry and sour cherry in the juicy close.
