Honey Bunches of Awesome: April 2013
http://honeybunchesofawesome.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 27, 2013. I chose a fairly short clip for the first one, as it has been a while since I last animated a dialogue shot. It turned out ok, I ended up spending a good portion of the day trying to figure out how the handcuffs were going to work though. For my third shot I picked an audio clip that I've been wanting to animate for a while. I think that this one turned out the best of the three. Friday, April 12, 2013. Honey Bunches of Awesome: February 2013
http://honeybunchesofawesome.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 28, 2013. Old Life Drawing Pt2. Here's some more of the life drawing that I found while sorting through a bunch of my old artwork. For this one we did a bunch of continual gestures as the model moved around in one spot. I kind of like how this one turned out. We used ink and nib pens one week, which was very different for me. It has a neat kind of graphic novel feel to it though. Remember when I said that I would sometimes get bored and add 'backgrounds'. Tuesday, February 26, 2013.

Honey Bunches of Awesome: November 2012
http://honeybunchesofawesome.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 30, 2012. I was at CTN the weekend before last and had the chance to go a great workshop with Ty Carter about becoming a professional student. He's having a Holiday Giveaway contest right now, so if you're interested in art or animation or just awesome stuff in general you should check it out. I have been slightly obsessed with sloths lately. I have my good friend Catherine to thank for that. She sent me a video. I started off with a couple of sketches. And then made the body out of felt.

Honey Bunches of Awesome: AM-Animals and Creatures 1 Week 3-6
http://honeybunchesofawesome.blogspot.com/2013/04/am-animals-and-creatures-1-week-3-6.html
Friday, April 12, 2013. AM-Animals and Creatures 1 Week 3-6. Our post walk cycle assignment was to animate a type of quadruped locomotion be it walking. running, trotting, leaping etc. I decided to do a smaller cat, because I thought it would be fun and the majority of the other shots being done were of bigger cats. I watched a LOT of cat videos on youtube and found a bunch of this adorable little kitten. Http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? V=WYk07KFWPZ8 (the part that I referenced starts at about 2:08).

Honey Bunches of Awesome: March 2013
http://honeybunchesofawesome.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 3, 2013. In my mountain of old life drawing I also found these ridiculous blind contour drawings. This first one looks like it's terrified and maybe in a strait jacket. My friend Kendall thinks that the face looks like a mushroom cloud. Most of my blind contours seem to end up having 'elephant feet'. I really enjoy how this guy's fingers seem to be turning into root vegetables. He seems totally relaxed and fine about it though. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

http://honeybunchesofawesome.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 21, 2015. It's been a very long time since I last posted anything here, but something pretty cool happened the other day that I feel I should probably write about. Last Saturday I went to a book signing at the Chapters in the Metrotown Mall in Burnaby for Nick Offerman's new book Gumption: Relighting the Torch of Freedom with America's Gutsiest Troublemakers. A photo posted by @ericaanim on. Jul 18, 2015 at 5:40pm PDT. Greetings from @nick offerman. 8212; Indigo Events (@indigogreenroom) Ju...

Saturday, January 26, 2013. I've really been neglecting my posting lately, and I have a lot of stuff to throw up here! First of all, I got my Schoolism certificate in the mail! It's tiny and I love it. I also went to CTN in November, so here are a bunch of pictures of that. I got to go to a pre-screening of Rise of the Guardians at Dreamworks Animation Studios! Po and I brushed up on our Kung Fu. The lovely Brittany Lee! She did a demo on her paper cut technique which I was super excited about. I also go...
