Thursday, November 27, 2014. It’s not that I haven’t had the opportunity to go to Disneyland. Heaven knows I’ve driven by it at least 10 times in that 23 month period. But every time I considered visiting the most magical, happy place on earth I kept doubting myself. “Was it really worth the ENORMOUS price tag? 8221; “Is it really THAT fun? 8221; I don’t know why but over and over again I would question if it was really worth it. 2014 the stars aligned and my world was perfect. Monday, June 22, 2015. I've been thinking about prayer all weekend. For over two years Jason and I have been praying for some specific things. And despite the frustration and confusion of set backs, two of our major prayers have been answered. The joy and gratitude that comes at those moments are huge. The love that is felt is overwhelming. Wednesday, July 15, 2015. There are all the cliche Disneyland foods that people love:. Churros, Turkey Legs, Gumbo, Fried Chicken from the Plaza, Corn Dogs from Coke Corner, and Pineapple Dole Whip. (we even went around the room and talked about how favorite foods in one of our orientations and the things mentioned above were all that people talked about.). So I went on a mission to eat new things at Disneyland. I wasn't as successful as I had hoped but I did try some new things I am excited to share.

Thursday, May 28, 2015. It's that time of year again. 40 blue plastic chairs stacked high in the corner. 18 desks piled on top of each other. All 310 of my World Geography books are stacked neatly against the wall. There are new art pieces and graduation announcements on my wall yet the room feels so empty. And I'm still here.
