Cannot even believe I am about to write this. I have a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology! My family and I had such a wonderful time celebrating this past weekend. It couldn't have come at a better time and I am so excited that I no longer have to study for tests, do homework, or go to class (except for continuing education classes of course ;) . I feel so honored to have been part of such a wonderful group of girls (and guy! It was all worth it! Here I come world, watch out! View from the plane.

Archive for October 2013. Oh boy, oh boy. What a whirlwind these past few months have been. I'm pretty sure the only monumental event in my life lately is that I started grad school and have only 5 weeks until finals! 5 weeks people. And then I only have 3 more semesters until my externship. So crazy. Here is what I have been up to since we spoke last. I have been able to embrace my inner goofball thanks to my kiddos I have this semester. I could seriously get used to it ;). You couldn't beat the views.

Archive for May 2013. Nothin' but a God thing. First off, Eric and I went to Arkansas recently for our cousin, Brooke's, high school graduation. She is going to be headed to college in the fall and we could not be happier for her! This is the best picture I could get.my iphone was all the way zoomed in! Eric and I have a thing for visiting unique coffee shops anytime we travel to a new place, so of course, we had to hit one up while in AR. Oh yes, that would be my infamous lion's mane. I will take it :).

Friday, January 30, 2015. Back in November we had Caroline baptized on All Saints Day. In the morning we all gathered to attend the mass for the Office of Acolyte for Michael's dad as he is going through the deaconate in the diocese of San Antonio. Wednesday, September 18, 2013. In July we took a vacation with my family down to Galveston. There was a lot of wonderful down time, rest and relaxation. It was so cute to watch "the girls" together. I think they have properly taken that title away from me and my sisters. This kind of quality, laid back, no where to go, nothing to do family time is so rare and much appreciated. I'm so glad we got these pictures early, because when it came time for trick-or-treating, Cora was completely over her costume, and she transformed into an Indian, or Pocahontas, not sure. We went over to the Kalina's house and shared a delicious meal, seasonal drinks, and plenty of toddler entertainment. These poor babies were so adorable and confused, they did great! Tuesday, December 17, 2013. I am so grateful that we had a chance to get away as a family back in November. We got to completely enjoy each other with no distractions and it was glorious. The Life at the Lynema's Home. Friday, August 29, 2014. First I started out with my crock pot and a chicken that I bought from Sam's club. They come in packs of two. I placed the chicken in the the crock pot. This picture is of my chicken, the wings actually have to go down for extra juiciness. I realized it was upside down and put it the other way. Anyway I put little slices of butter on it you can melt it before hand or do it this way. Cook on low from 6-8 hours or you can cook on high from 4-6 hours.
