Walking around town our first day, Leandra was ready for a snack and steered us toward Madam Khanh – The Banh Mi Queen. Just up the street from a row of tailor shops we found the small cart and attached kitchen with a small line out front. Within about 10 minutes she had her freshly made many-layered sandwich. Total cost – 20K dong ( $.90). While Leandra attended her cooking class.

Continuing with our botanical theme we took the tram a few stops to Hortus Botanicus. One of the oldest botanical gardens in the world. The nearly 400-year old garden is small and a bit pricey at 8 Euros, but features an extensive collection including a tropical house, cacti and pond plants, plus the weather was perfect for strolling. Where's your sense of adventure. An eric and leandra production. Food & drink. London: Lumiere The Play that Goes Wrong. February 25, 2018. Upon arriving back in London for the afternoon, Google alerted Eric that the Lumiere Light Festival. Was starting that evening. My aunt had mentioned it previously but we assumed we would miss it. So, in between a lovely relaxing bottle of wine at Gordon’s Wine Bar. As for the play, we very much enjoyed it but found the Comedy About a Bank Robbery funnier overall.

Tuesday, December 19, 2017. Well, it turns out this is now mostly a vacation blog. We feel the most guilty about not updating the blog when we are on holiday, apparently. Because here I am, as I have been so many times before, blogging in a hotel room. A quick four hour flight and we were by the beach. We came down with three of our coaches: Eric, Kevin and Connor. We have logged some time in the reclining chairs, hit the buffets and played a bit of volleyball. Or taken that long. Even she winced a bit.
