Sunday, September 6, 2009. First Day of Third Grade. Lex with her hair all curled. I learned that curls don't stay that well in soggy weather though. By the time we had walked the few blocks it took to get to school they were gone. Lex' 3rd grade teacher - she seems so nice! I took the day off so I could walk her to school and walk her home. Saturday, June 13, 2009. After a hard fought, grueling, and super exciting Little League Championship game, we came up with a tie (and the coaches elected to not go into extra innings to play it out). The girls played awesome! We were up 3-0 for the first two innings, then they came back to tie it up and go ahead 3-5, then they had a big inning to go ahead 3-8. we came back in the fourth to 12-10, but then their last inning they caught up to end the game at 12-12. Good job Red Sox! How to Make Ice Cream.

Sunday, October 30, 2011. Tony's birthday this year was on a Wednesday so he came over for dinner and then we had a party for him at his house. He doesn't like cake so I tried to do a fruit type dessert, but it wasn't very good. One of my good friends and I at Tony's birthday (Chollada). There are two "21"s on this pretty bad cobbler. Thursday, March 17, 2011. Lex and her awesome wonderful teacher at Chase. This is the first moment the kids entered the building. They were so excited. Sunday, April 10, 2011. Universal Studios - April 8, 2011. The last leg of our trip was Universal Studios. First ride was the Simpsons, Blah. But then we did the Studio Tour and things started to look up. All in all, fun time, although I don't know that either one of us are super excited about going back. Dracula was a bit freaky, but oh well. I'm pretty sure Lex would love to be a singer in a rock ban. Frankenstein kept playing with her hair. She turned to scold him once but he would not be deterred.

Monday, July 27, 2009. Out with Friends - July 2009. I had the chance to go to Southern California and meet up with some of my college girlfriends. I had such a fun time hanging out with them and going out at night. Lex and I went to Disneyland and California Adventure for five days. It was hot and by day three I was considering whether or not I had had enough of the happiest place on earth. By day five I was sad to say good-bye to the Mouse though. We had such a great time!
