Eric Palmer Endurance Coaching. Professional Triathlon, Cycling, Running and Swimming Instruction. Sunday, November 15, 2009. Sorry for the lack of posts. Since I only coach part-time, sometimes updating the coaching 'blog gets put on the back burner. Some notable results recently:. Last, but certainly not least, Jon Umlor rac...

The Joys of Race Training: The Group Ride

http://jimstrainingnotes.blogspot.com/2010/04/group-ride.html

The Joys of Race Training. Parent of Two who wants to be competitive in Duathlon events, and the challenges of training while working full time and raising a family. Tuesday, April 6, 2010. I string together my workouts each week based on some modified training plans that were generously supplied to me last year by a good friend Eric Palmer ( www.ericpalmerendurancecoaching.blogspot.com. Training Log: People in Boulder are Fast

http://steventraining.blogspot.com/2011/07/people-in-boulder-are-fast.html

Mind the minutes and the hours will take care of themselves. Saturday, July 2, 2011. People in Boulder are Fast. On Father’s Day I participated in the Boulder Sprint Triathlon - 0.5 mile swim, 17.2 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run. I say participated rather than raced, because aft. Er a few miles on the bike I really wasn’t racing for a position. This was a marked contrast to my previous triathlon in Auburn. I was out of the water in a good time, but I went backwards on the bike and run. I rented a Giant Defy.

Training Log: 2012 Triathlon Season Opener

http://steventraining.blogspot.com/2012/04/2012-triathlon-season-opener.html

Mind the minutes and the hours will take care of themselves. Sunday, April 8, 2012. 2012 Triathlon Season Opener. The Xterra Real MTB Triathlon. On April 1 was my triathlon season opener. After running in two 15k trail runs this year I was ready to add the swim and bike for some real fun. They called us up to the start and we huddled together like penguins. Soon the horn sounded and we began our 0.5 mile swim, 16 mile mountain bike, 3.5 mile run adventure. Once the race started, the cold ...A quick trans...

http://steventraining.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html

Mind the minutes and the hours will take care of themselves. Tuesday, May 21, 2013. This Sunday was the Auburn International Triathlon. This is a great race venue, and I love this course. At this race, the swim-bike transition (T1) is several miles away from the bike-run transition (T2). It adds a logistical component that adds to the excitement. As the results show, everything went well for me at this race. A picture is worth a thousand words (almost):. T1 - 0:02:36 (long run from water).

http://steventraining.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

Mind the minutes and the hours will take care of themselves. Tuesday, October 5, 2010. Granite Bay Triathlon 2010. I raced my last tri of the season one week ago on Sunday at TBF Racing's Granite Bay Triathlon. I had a lot of fun and overall I am pleased with result. My time (1:53:40) was a little over 11 minutes faster than last year, which I attribute to my brother's coaching ( Eric Palmer Endurance Coaching. Out of the water and charging the beach. On the bike just out of T1, and putting on my gloves.

Tuesday, August 18, 2015. Reader comments- Australia's bad investment. You mean that in the last thirteen years Australia has spent over ten thousand million dollars and they only have two prototype airplanes to show for it? Well they don't actually HAVE them, but they did get to paint kangaroos on two at Luke Air Base. (Two joeys would be more like it.). Links to this post.
