Monday, October 22, 2012. Over the weekend, I got to go to Moab with Natalie. And watch her run a half marathon. That is 13.1 miles! I am so proud to say that she did incredible! I knew she would because she has been. So diligent at training. Moab is such a beautiful place and the weather. Here, Natalie is coming. She is the little blue dot in the back. Just before the finish line. She is still smiling! Everything was so well organized! Just had to add the beautiful picture. This is castle Rock.

Monday, January 30, 2012. Matt's letter for January 30, 2012. It has been a good week! So update: I bought new shoes - Clarkes! They are different from the last ones. They are Black Slip On, and I love them a lot! Elder Cook has some just like it, and he loves them. They are good! I also got insoles for them on Friday. They are better than the last ones – a lot firmer, so it feels pretty good. Things are getting better! I'll keep you posted. They are a great family. I love them lots! I love them so much.

Monday, August 27, 2012. Aug 20, 2012. Well, another great week in Tehachapi. It was a pretty normal one, nothing too exciting! We had Sam and Susie interviewed and they passed, so they are getting baptized on Saturday! It's going to be awesome! All that will be left will be dad. Sunday, October 28, 2012. Moab - Fall 2012. Wynn and I and Wynn's brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Karen,. Went to Moab this past weekend. We had so much fun! We left last Wednesday afternoon and drove to Lehi and stayed. With Mike and Karen's daughter and her family. We had the best tortellini soup I have ever had. It was so good. We got up Thursday morning to SNOW! We didn't let it get us down, we headed for Moab. We got there in time to do Gemini Bridges and Metal Masher. We got home around 1:00 am.

Monday, December 26, 2011. We got a short e-mail from Matt today. Talking to him yesterday, he expressed that. He thought he could possibly be transferred. Today Well, his suspicion was true, he. Is now going to Thousand Oaks. It. Is closer to L.A. close to the coast. His new companion is from out East. Somewhere. He is still a zone leader. He was looking forward to a change. He loved Bakersfield but felt it was. Time for him to move on. He did send the following pictures. Chases baptism on Dec. 17th.
