the top drawer: coffee cream and spirit totems
http://erikajacobsphotography.blogspot.com/2009/12/coffee-cream-and-spirit-totems.html
Coffee cream and spirit totems. The best kind of subjects are standing on their front porch when you arrive with your knapsack full of cameras, coffees in their hands. (and the really great ones let you photograph their piles of laundry for an unrelated purpose.). Labels: flat of the conchord. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). You can find me here:. Four years ago I was traveling in Europe during the world cup. Having once lived in Stuttgart, Germany will always be the team of my heart, and it was tragic to see them lose to Italy in the 2006 semi-final. Though I don't generally follow sports, every four years I pull out my knockoff official German away jersey and cheer for my faves. I won't be able to watch the first Germany game today (I'm shooting a wedding at Fort York! Good luck to Germany against England! Jun 24, 2010, 5:15:00 PM.

He knows not what sequins.is. Photo for a dear friend, and most epic model, 2010). I don't have cable tv, so I miss out on most trendy commercials. occasionally, however, something really good makes it through and I am smitten. Most recently this includes the new French Connection campaign. The campaign, creative directed by Richard Flintham, was shot by the photography collective Blinkk. So-Much-To-Do List: Food For Grazing
http://somuchtodolist.blogspot.com/2009/06/food-for-grazing.html
Friday, June 19, 2009. One of my favourite meals in the summer - or any time of year, for that matter - is a platter of thinly sliced raw fruit and veg, olives, dip and, most importantly, cheese. Crackers and (sometimes) a baguette are also involved. On a recent visit, I picked up the blue cheese/artichoke/walnut dip, which was a bit strong for my tastes, and a hunk of Beemster. Gras from Holland (pictured above on the left). I first tried. Add some wine and you're in biz. Your blog is good . Erin is a w...
So-Much-To-Do List: Nine songs I loved in '09
http://somuchtodolist.blogspot.com/2010/01/nine-songs-i-loved-in-09.html
Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Nine songs I loved in '09. 2009 was a pretty sweet year for music. As usual, there was lots I didn't get to — the Spin. Best of' lists always make me feel like an inadequate music consumer — but the fact that three of my fave artists (Wilco, Tegan and Sara, Joel Plaskett) released new records in '09 made my ears very happy. Here are nine songs from last year that I listened to like craaazy. (p.s. I'd love to hear the tracks you loved from last year, too! The sound of New Pornogr...

So-Much-To-Do List: Why I Love Getting Mail
http://somuchtodolist.blogspot.com/2009/06/why-i-love-getting-mail.html
Monday, June 8, 2009. Why I Love Getting Mail. My tastes veer to modern when it comes to a lot of things, but when I got this lovely card from my grandmother a few weeks ago, I was taken by the spring-y blue, old-fashioned pattern. It looks like a tea towel in print! Hey, I got that card too! June 9, 2009 at 2:06 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Praxis, Metaxis, Adidas Sneakers. So-Much-To-Do List: February 2009
http://somuchtodolist.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 19, 2009. Being Erica — watch it! CBC, while strong on news and current affairs, isn't known for its TV dramas past or present. Although I've never watched Sophie. The ads tell me all I need to know—that I won't take kindly to a perky real estate agent or brooding Albertans with scandalous oil-related secrets. . But CBC has, surprisingly, done something right with a non-news program. Being Erica. My message, in short, is watch this show. Well, it simply has. Sunday, February 15, 2009.

So-Much-To-Do List: Luminato-ing
http://somuchtodolist.blogspot.com/2009/06/luminato-ing.html
Tuesday, June 16, 2009. Luminato is a pretty crazy hyped event in Toronto. It's cool to see an arts festival that gets so much money and media attention, but, I admit, I'm always a little skeptical of such hype (Nuit Blanche comes to mind). In this case, however, my skepticism was quashed, at least when it came to the two events I witnessed. Tales of the Uncanny. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
