Christmas in Cambria

December 25, 2014. Being back in Paso means that I got to spend this Christmas with my dad! We went on a short trip over to the coast and hung out at the beach for a while. Paso Robles is situated about 30 minutes from both Cayucous and Cambria (coastal towns). We headed north toward Cambria and past it a bit to San Simeon which is famous for Hearst Castle and elephant seals. Road Trip to Paso Robles.

December 7, 2014. Soap Lake and Dry Falls. Is the best compilation of the history of the area that I found if you want to learn more. As you notice above, the water has a foam on it that looks like suds (hence Soap Lake). You can also see a frozen waterfall in the background that is not made out of suds. This is the swanky interpretive center perched at the lookout point over the lower Grand Coulee. On a side note I realized that I had actually been here before. The Grand Coulee Dam.
