You didn’t stay up until midnight, but we did have our own little New Years early in the night. Learning, Love, and Literature. On Long Drives #SOL15. March 5, 2015. With a family who lives five hours east and a best friend who’s seven hours south, it’s lucky I love long drives so much. Tomorrow is my mom’s birthday, so today I head to Cincinnati. I’ve packed lots of sweatshirts and jeans, wool socks and scarves. As the month progresses the weather usually becomes milder and much easier to deal with. Less wearing of sweaters, boots and winter coats and more sunny days and the feel of spring. I know most of us complain about the weather, but I think if I lived in a place where there were not four distinct seasons I would feel as if I were being cheated. I'll just let it be by saying that it was simply amazing. My fiance and I closed on our first home :). So excited to be home owners! It's real. We moved in!
