http://lukesparents.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Cardinals and Tigers and Bears.Oh My! Life updates from Matteson, IL. Saturday, February 27, 2010. As I looked through the pictures from the past month, they all seemed to have one thing in common.Ben. He started the month showing us that even in his big boy bed he can get out of his footie pajamas, no problem. He also learned the valuable lesson, that it is exhausting work pouting at Daddy for an entire evening. I believe he was protesting dinner time when he passed out. We had pizza, opened presents.

Even the war museum is hands on. Luke got to meet a Civil War soldier. We loved having Grandma and Grandpa spend the weekend with us. The following weekend was my birthday.

http://lukesparents.blogspot.com/2011/03/train-up-child.html
Cardinals and Tigers and Bears.Oh My! Life updates from Matteson, IL. Thursday, March 17, 2011. Train up a child. Just had to share this story. We got to play outside today which we take very seriously after the snow-filled winter we've had. Amongst the digging and climbing and pretending the boys decided to sit down to a "meal" on their fort's steps. Sitting next to each other with their back to me I hear,. Ben - "Ok, now we pray before we eat.". In unison - "Thank you Jesus, for our food. Amen.".

Uncle Kurt tried out Scott's new Madden game. Lydia seems a little concerned. But the neig...

Cardinals and Tigers and Bears.Oh My! Life updates from Matteson, IL. Tuesday, January 04, 2011. December has come and gone and it was great. We got all the Christmas decorations up the day we got back from Thanksgiving. Luke insisted he put the star on top. (Daddy helped of course). The boys have spent a lot of time playing with their little people Nativity set. Luke really enjoys making up his own stories including the wise men taking the front lines to protect Baby Jesus from the "bad guys". Once in W...
