The Bettridges in Virginia Now. Monday, February 24, 2014. Ron was such a wonderful son to my Mom and Dad, and was the major reason they could both live out their lives in their home. Ron's devotion to taking care of them allowed them to stay together. Ron was a lover of animals and nature. He fussed over his yard and garden and often took months to find just the right tree or bush to plant. His back yard was home to several bunnies and birds and he particularly loved his three cats.
