To combat this, LOSH organizes the public awareness campaign Safe Jobs for Youth Month. In May each year to highlight the importance of injury prevention among teen workers. What You Can Do. To find out how teens and their employers, parents and teachers can become advocates for teen workplace safety.

Each year we observe Workers' Memorial Day in order to remember the workers who suffered injuries, became ill, or were killed on the job, as well as to promote legislative action and stronger enforcement of existing health and safety laws.
