Design Felci Yacht design. Concept J. Schuchter. Esse 750 International Class. The boat’s hull and deck are of vacuum assisted infusion carbon composite sandwich construction. The modern sail plan includes a self-tacking jib and jib-furler, a square top mainsail and gennaker. The gennaker is set through a launching tube. As neither a backstay nor runners are used and the spinnaker is dropped using a dropline, singlehanded sailing is no problem in all conditions.

Additional information for the esse 850 user manual. Keel screws A and B (M20) must be checked annually by a specialist for the correct tightening torque of 250 270 Nm. Tools required: Wrench socket 30 mm and torque wrench. Shall be made by a professional. Storing the boat out of the water. The rudder should be protected from intensive sunlight with a thermal cover, particularly if it has dark antifouling or dark paint. Intensive sunlight on one side may cause deformation to occur.

The boat’s hull and deck are of glassfibre sandwich construction. The gennaker boom is carbon and the rig aluminium. The Jefa needle rudder bearings give a very fine response and that typical Esse feeling through the carbon tiller.
