Idaho Farmer in Ethiopia: March 2011
http://idahofarmerinethiopia.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Idaho Farmer in Ethiopia. Wednesday, March 2, 2011. A visit from our daughter and a trip to visit Zakir's family. We had the pleasure to have Morgan, Andrew, and our two grand daughters come to Ethiopia. We Traveled up to Addis Ababa to greet them at the airport. We spent a couple of days there before traveling back to the farm by road to have them experience the countryside. Waiting impatiently for our Charcoal Tibs at a restaurant along the way. Having a walk with grandma as our tire was being fixed.

Idaho Farmer in Ethiopia: May 2010
http://idahofarmerinethiopia.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Idaho Farmer in Ethiopia. Sunday, May 30, 2010. A Summary of the Farm Operation So Far. It proved successful. Within a month and a half they had cleared about 5,000 acres. The piles of brush were soon burned. And with purchased and hired local equipment we started to plow ground in preparation for planting. We had placed an order for larger equipment that we were familiar with from the U.S. in December, but none of it had arrived. John Deere model 1895 44' air drill (somewhere over the ocean). In the end...

Sunday, February 27, 2011. Don't really know why it sometimes worse than others, but I just miss my boy. I wouldn't want him anywhere else, doing anything else, than what he is doing right now, but I still miss him. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Ethiopian Cowboy: One Man's Hope for Africa. http://keepnitsunnysideup.blogspot.com/2014/01/bitter-sweet.html
Thursday, January 30, 2014. I should probably take the time to write two separate posts, but I should be getting ready for the day soon. I have my first evaluation from the University with me and some students with disabilities as I teach them something in a community setting. I shouldn't be so nervous, but I am. Well, onward and upward.gotta get this evaluation over with. I hope the kiddos behave in public. The upside is that I'll have to grown men with me by my side. Ohdo you like Nat's shirt?

Are You Jumbled Too? Saturday, May 16, 2015. Goodbye Broken Nail - Jamberry to the Rescue! I have a fun story to share with ya'll! No, I'm not from the south, but my Dad is, and it's such a convenient word, so I'll just go with it! Anyway, so I'm in the middle of doing a Jamberry party. This week, and I've been wanting to put on some new wraps because I think they're just so fun, and I wanted to show off the pictures to my party-goers. Now that that's out of the way, can I just say that I LOVE Jamberry?

Today started the adventure of a new one to research our Hale, Thole,& Mahaffey families. I've decided to blog my adventures, knowing that I probably won't be too good about journal writing. All I can say is THANK GOODNESS for my GPS! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Ethiopian Cowboy: One Man's Hope for Africa. Evan's Root Beer Roundup. Seeing through new eyes. Lookie lookie, theres a cookie.

Friday, January 31, 2014. Just who will you be? A sweet woman who works with me gave me a book to read. It is by Maria Shriver named "Just who will you be? She poses the question.Just WHO will you be? Many times we ask people WHAT they are. Are they a doctor, teacher, electrician.WHAT are they? She drives the point home that we are truly happy when we decide WHO we want to be and to follow that dream. At the end of the book she posts her pledge. 5 I pledge to use my voice to empower myself and others.

The Life Musings of Kandi: August 2011
http://kandirae.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 30, 2011. A visit from Pops. Right before fall semester started at USU, Dad came down to Logan to visit for a week. He was bringing down the boys and a car loaded with junk, trailing along a Bug. I tried to get Dad to fix some things on my car and at my apartment, but that was slow going. I think he was more interested in playing while he was in town. Monday, August 15, 2011. I CAN be creative.sometimes. I actually finished a sewing project! The Life Musings of Kandi: July 2012
http://kandirae.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 29, 2012. Once in awhile I need a break from Logan. On Saturday, I decided I needed a break from Logan, so I convinced Heather to head down to Salt Lake with me. We weren't quite sure what to do, but we figured SLC was bigger than Logan and we could come up with something to do. We then went out to the mall and for lunch at Applebees. Luckily, I had no money left, so I couldn't buy anything else. :). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Once in awhile I need a break from Logan.
