Since its formation, the unit has undertaken clinical studies and research for many companies with interests in contact lenses. Skip to main content. Problems during a study. Eurolens conducts approximately 20 clinical studies per year for the global contact lens industry. For most studies, we require 20–100 people to wear contact lenses, either well-known brands or developmental lenses, for the duration of a study (usually 1 day–1 year).
