And the countryside to Belogradchick to see its castle and the unusual rock formations. They look like statues but are naturally weathered sandstone rocks resembling different figures, for example, Adam and Eve kissing. Bulgaria is renowned for its roses which are sent to France for perfume manufacture. I bought a Bulgarian apron to wear with my black dress. There are so many beautiful things to buy here. Terry enquired about a larger room and was told that there are smaller rooms available at the moment but no larger ones – maybe tomorrow. In October 2011 I travelled without my husband, for the first time, to attend a conference in Melbourne. I had a friend accompany me as my “carer” and fellow conference attendee. This would be my first “adventure” as a disabled person. Er before in his brand-new taxi.
