Friday, 17 November 2006. Part 4 Reims, France. We spent 3 nights. Historical city with a Notre Dame Cathedral (most famous one is in Paris). Lots of outdoor cafes with brilliant French food! Restaurant with gorgeous food! We had dinner there twice. Acceptable with a good location. We took a bus tour of the city which enabled us to see the major sites. We spent a month in Uganda during which time we attended our Ugandan daughter, Doreen's, graduation from Makerere University with a degree in business. Saturday, 27 July 2013. We spent one month in Michigan visiting my family, returning on July 10th. It was very enjoyable seeing all the family and the weather was pleasant for the most part. Thursday, 25 June 2015. Bike ride to Skipness Castle. Lots more long bike rides and most are very hilly but this is not an issue with the help of the electric battery on the bikes. Climbing up hills is still work, but nothing like it would be on a regular bike. Tuesday we rode to Skipness Castle which is in the Kintyre Peninsula across from the Isle of Arran (a future bike trip). The castle has parts of it that are early 13th century, other parts are 16th and 18th centuries. Lots more photos of bike rides.
