Producing Worship: The Concert "Suck Knob" Syndrome
http://producingworship.blogspot.com/2006/10/concert-suck-knob-syndrome.html
Reflection on Worship Production. The Concert "Suck Knob" Syndrome. Why is it that the sound men for opening acts at a concert aren't allowed to bring the band up to the same or similar standard as the headlining band? Is there a "suck knob" or filter back there that makes them sound that much worse only to make the main act sound that much better? 2 Piggyb...

Producing Worship: September 2011

Reflection on Worship Production. Is Your Worship Vertically Challenged? OK, so I'm gonna just say what has been dwelling inside for some time and fighting to come out. All to often in many 'worship services' that I have been a part of over the course of my life have been what I call vertically challenged. You ask, what do you mean? Life's Destinations...: January 2009
http://paulhinzman.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 23, 2009. Have you ever had the opportunity to regurgitate vision and future plans over and over during the span of a couple weeks? How can we capture such an idea amongst our leaders? How do we get this started? How do we develop buy in? So many questions to answer, never the less, another great day. Tuesday, January 20, 2009. So, if that is true (which I believe it is), then why don't we pursue those relationships more often? Why mention these things? I was just thinking.

Life's Destinations...: Transition...
http://paulhinzman.blogspot.com/2009/03/transition.html
Friday, March 6, 2009. Transition.blessing or curse? As I look ahead to the next several months, transition is about all I see. I had a wonderful conversation with a close friend last night and then spent several hours meditating on the idea of change. Good.Bad? I came to this conclusion. If we want the things we build to last, we have to build them to change. Change should be a core value in all we do. I think we too often think the things we build should last longer than they do. Author Archive for Conner Byrd. I’ve lost my internet footprint. So, saying I’ve been busy kind of goes without saying. Saying I’ve got stress…it’s always there. Saying my wife has been staying current with blogs and reading them more than me is just embarrassing. Saying I need a break is redundant because…well, I’ve been on one for quite some time now. Until then, for those still reading, my online footprint will remain over at The Joint Review. And I’ll try and get my act together quickly. Just to name...

The Joint Goes Official! In March of this year 2 of some incredible blogging buddies of mine and I kicked off a fun project called the Joint. Where we reviewed music in a ‘multi-personality’ format. We’ve had a ton of fun with it. I’ve been stoked to be a part of it and get to know these guys better and interact with ya’ll around the subject of music. Before that we had Brenton Brown. Check out the music. Show some love and spread the word. Responses to “The Joint Goes Official! Feed for this Entry.
